How to enable/disable Cookies

HTTP Cookies, sometimes known as Web Cookies or just Cookies, are parcels of text sent by a server to a web browser and then sent back unchanged by the browser each time it accesses that server. Cookies, in themselves, are generally harmless and are actually required for using certain functions of a website (for better & fast performance of the page). In case, if your browser doesn't support Cookies then kindly select your respective web browser and follow the following steps to enable the Cookies on your web browser.

Internet Explorer 9.0

Step - 01 Click on the gear-wheel icon at the top right of the browser window. Step - 02 Select "Internet Options", to open the Internet Options dialog box. Step - 03 Change to the "Privacy" tab. Step - 04 You now have two options depending on how much you want to restrict cookies: (A) Automatic cookie handling Step - 04.A.1 Set the slider to "Medium". Step - 04.A.2 This should be enough to enable cookies on hoodaki.com, but it is recommended to add hoodaki.com to the Sites list. To do this, click "Sites". Step - 04.A.3 Enter "hoodaki.com" in the "Address of the website:" input. Step - 04.A.4 Click "Allow". Step - 04.A.5 Click "OK". Step - 04.A.6 Click "OK". (B) Restrict to selective sites Step - 04.B.1 Set the slider to "High". Step - 04.B.2 Click "Sites". Step - 04.B.3 Enter "hoodaki.com" in the "Address of the website:" input. Step - 04.B.4 Click "Allow". Step - 04.B.5 Click "OK". Step - 04.B.6 Click "OK".

Internet Explorer 8.0

Step - 01 Click on the "Tools" menu in Internet Explorer. Step - 02 Select "Internet Options", to open the Internet Options dialog box. Step - 03 Change to the "Privacy" tab. Step - 04 You now have two options depending on how much you want to restrict cookies: (A) Automatic cookie handling Step - 04.A.1 Set the slider to "Medium". Step - 04.B.4 Click "Allow". Step - 04.B.5 Click "OK". Step - 04.B.6 Click "OK".

Internet Explorer 7.0

Step - 01 Open the "Tools" menu. Step - 02 Select "Internet Options", to open the Internet Options dialog box. Step - 03 Click the "Privacy" tab. Step - 04 Click on the Sites button - another window opens. Step - 05 Enter "hoodaki.com" in the text field and then click Allow. "hoodaki.com" will appear in the "Managed websites" list below with a Setting of Allowed. Step - 06 Save changes by clicking Ok in each window and go to one of the configuration pages again.

Internet Explorer 6.0

Step - 01 Click on the Tools-menu in Internet Explorer. Step - 02 Click on the Internet Options item in the menu - a new window opens. Step - 03 Click on the Privacy tab near the top of the window. (See image below) Step - 04 Move the slider (See image) so that is on one of the levels below Medium High (including Medium, Low, Accept All Cookies. Step - 05 Save changes by clicking Ok and go to one of the configuration pages again.

Internet Explorer 5.0/5.5

Step - 01 Click on the Tools-menu in Internet Explorer. Step - 02 Click on the Internet Options item in the menu - a new window opens. Step - 03 Click on the Security tab near the top of the window. Step - 04 Click on the Custom Level... button near the bottom of the window. Step - 05 Scroll down to Cookies in the new dialog, and set both "Allow cookies that are stored on your computer" and "Allow per-session cookies to Enable. Step - 06 Save changes by clicking Ok in each dialog and go to one of the configuration pages again.

Mozilla Firefox 4.0

Step - 01 Click the Firefox button at the top left of the browser window. Step - 02 Click Options... Step - 03 Change to the Privacy Settings. Step - 04 You now have two options depending on how much you want to restrict cookies: (A) No restriction (recommended) Step - 04.A.1 Set "Firefox will:" to "Remember history". Step - 04.A.2 Click "OK". (B) Restrict to selective sites Step - 04.B.1 Set "Firefox will:" to "Use Custom settings for history". Step - 04.B.2 If "Accept cookies from sites" is ticked, it will accept cookies from all sites, if you want to choose which sites to allow cookies for, first untick this. Step - 04.B.3 Then click "Exceptions...". Step - 04.B.4 In the "Address of the web site:" enter "hoodaki.com" (without quotes). Step - 04.B.5 Click "Allow". Step - 04.B.6 Click "Close". Step - 04.B.7 Click "OK".

Mozilla Firefox 3.5

Step - 04.A.2 Ensure "Keep until" is set to "they expire". Step - 04.A.3 Click "OK". (B) Restrict to selective sites Step - 04.B.1 If "Accept cookies from sites" is ticked, it will accept cookies from all sites, if you want to choose which sites to allow cookies for, first untick this. Step - 04.B.2 Then click "Exceptions...". Step - 04.B.3 In the "Address of the web site:" enter "hoodaki.com" (without quotes). Step - 04.B.4 Click "Allow". Step - 04.B.5 Click "Close". Step - 04.B.6 Click "OK".

Opera 10.0
Step - 01 Click on the Tools menu in Opera. Step - 02 Click Preferences... Step - 03 Change to the Advanced tab, and to the cookies section. Step - 04 Select "Accept cookies only from the site I visit" or "Accept cookies". Step - 05 Ensure "Delete new cookies when exiting Opera" is not ticked. Step - 06 Click OK.

Safari 4.0
Step - 01 Click on the "Cog" (gear-wheel) icon in Safari. Step - 02 Click Preferences... Step - 03 Change to the Security tab. Step - 04 Select "Only from sites I visit" or "Allow". Step - 05 Close the dialog using the cross.

Netscape 7.x

Step - 01 Click on the Edit-menu in Netscape Step - 02 Click on the Preferences... item in the menu - a new window opens. Step - 03 Expand the Privacy & Security selection in the left part of the window. (See first image below) Step - 04 Click on the Cookies selection. Step - 05 Under Cookie Acceptance Policy - either check the Enable all cookies checkbox or Allow cookies based on policy settings. Step - 06 If Allow cookies based on policy settings is selected, click on View and ensure that the level is at low or medium (See second image below). Step - 07 Save changes by clicking Ok and go to one of the configuration pages again.

Netscape 6.x
Step - 01 Click on the Edit-menu in Netscape. Step - 02 Click on the Preferences... item in the menu - a new window opens. Step - 03 Expand the Advanced selection in the left part of the window. Step - 04 Click on the Cookies selection. Step - 05 Check the Enable all cookies setting. Step - 06 Save changes by clicking Ok and go to one of the configuration pages again.

Netscape 4.x

Step - 04 Click on the Cookies selection. Step - 05 In the lower part of the screen, Accept all cookies should be checked. Step - 06 Save changes by clicking Ok and go to one of the configuration pages again.

Google Chrome 10-11

Step - 01 Click the "Spanner" icon in the top right of the browser window. Step - 02 Click Options... Step - 03 On the left side of the browser window click "Under the Hood". Step - 04 In the section titled "Privacy" click the button "Content settings..." Step - 05 You now have two options: (A) Automatic cookie handling Step - 05.A.1 In the section titled "Cookies" select the option "Allow local data to be set". (B) Add exceptions manually Step - 05.B.1 In the section titled "Cookies" click the button "Block sites from setting any data". Step - 05.B.2 Click the button "Manage exceptions...". Step - 05.B.3 In the column titled "Pattern" type hoohaki.com into the text box. Step - 05.B.4 In the column titled "Action" click the button "Allow".

Google Chrome 3-9
Step - 01 Click the "Spanner" icon in the top right of the browser window. Step - 02 Click Options... Step - 03 Change to the "Under the Hood" tab. Step - 04 Scroll down until you see "Cookie settings:". Step - 05 Set this to "Allow all cookies".
